2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt
YOU MAY NOT BE AS COOL AS STEVE MCQUEEN, BUT THIS MUSTANG IS.
Ford just unveiled in a subtle video the new 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt special edition. If you know anything about the 1968 classic movie Bullitt, it's that Steve McQueen is a bad ass and the mustang he drives is bad ass. Bullitt also features one of the coolest car chase scenes in cinema history which I'll put part one below.
THE ORIGINAL CHASE THAT STARTED IT.
At roughly 475 HP and 420 LB.-FT. of torque this mean son of a bitch is no joke. At these numbers the Bullitt has about 15 more HP than the GT variant. The car also has no badges, a black grill and black 5 spoke muscle wheels.
Of course the signature sound is captured by a custom made exhaust from the factory so you get the sound of the original 68 fastback.
You have the performance, you have the sound, and why yes you even get that beautiful signature low key Dark Highland Green paint like the original car.
Jay leno knows what he's talking about
Jay leno actually owns Steve McQueen's 1956 jaguar XKSS. As a fan of McQueen, car collector, and knowledge authority himself, Leno got a first hands on drive of the new Bullitt Mustang.
