Demo Tapes of the legendary Kurt Cobain have been leaked onto the inter-webs.

John Purkey, an old friend of Cobain's, claims these 4 lost tapes were originally given to him by Kurt, and that he has kept them secret... until now.

Though this doesn't answer any of the burning questions many of us still have surrounding Cobain's tragic suicide, some 23 years later, it does provide something from the ash behind.

Something salvaged and preserved, from a turbulent and familiar time.
